By: Christian Anderson, City Saver Brand Manager
I am one of the newest members of the City Saver team, having come on board a couple of weeks ago as the Brand Manager. I am also new to Nashville, after arriving near the middle of July from New York. Ironically, I have found that using the City Saver mobile app is an excellent way to discover the area.
Part of my job is to help promote the benefits of City Saver via the coupon books and mobile app, and after using the app over the past three weeks, I can honestly say that it’s an excellent tool.
My phone is always with me, and utilizing the app “on the go” has helped me find good deals at restaurants and other local merchants. Moving to the south was a daunting proposition, but the City Saver mobile app has helped make the transition much easier.
Just last weekend, for instance, my fiancé and I discovered JJ’s Wine Bar in beautiful downtown Franklin, and sampled some wines while enjoying an appetizer. You can use the City Saver mobile app to search local merchants by neighborhoods, so finding JJ’s was a piece of cake.
Yesterday, I went to Tin Roof 2 in Cool Springs and took advantage of the coupon for free queso dip. It was a nice treat after a long weekend, and I was able to take advantage of the deal because I had the City Saver mobile app installed on my phone.
The app has also helped me find excellent deals at local golf courses, haircuts and much more. Be sure to download a free version of the 2014 version after you buy your City Saver book. It will pay for itself after just a few uses, and the coupons are good until Dec. 30, 2014!
Take it from someone who just arrived in central Tennessee, the City Saver app is a very convenient way to find the best deals at a bunch of locations.
